INFORMATION

In the climate crisis, food is becoming an important lever for a future worth living. From meat from the lab to milk proteins from the fermenter: What does a sustainable nutrition actually look like? Where are we heading and what findings are really reliable?

With our show-cooking in cooperation with the Techniker Krankenkasse you could not "eat wisdom with spoons", but prepare yourself for the next seminars, exam phases and writing chores. What you can expect:

*In the selection of food we try to take into account allergies and intolerances. Please understand that not every dietary habit can be taken into account.

Students from the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Folkwang University of the Arts and the Hochschule Ruhr West of Applied Sciences are cordially invited. The workshop is free of charge.

What do I need to do to stay as healthy as possible?

We are almost inundated with information on this every day in the media. Not a day goes by without a new message being spread about what or how we should eat, which foods protect us from illness or are our undoing. Health is bought with superfoods and “free-from” products. The important thing is that it has to be organic, because everything else poisons us.

The topic of nutrition is subject to many clichés: “Can I still eat after 17:00?” “Am I over-acidified?” “Is a vegan diet really the healthiest?” And many more statements. But is it really that simple? What do all the studies actually say?
